Let Others Know

IGL stands for In Game Leader; it’s not just your job to get your team into a good situation by attacking the other team first. If you have to, you can survive alone at the end and play a game for your team in your head. And the person who uses this information to get his team close to winning is called an IGL. For this reason, we are going to talk about India’s most talented IGLs, who have always helped their team win.

This article will not be about how many fans or supporters the IGLs have. Instead, it will be about the statistics that Liquipedia has on all of these players. These days, A-tier and B-tier events are seen as the most important. However, very few IGLs have even played in S-tier events. For those who don’t know, S-tier events are the most famous and best events that have ever happened in a game.

Ammar “Destro” Khan

Ammar “Destro” Khan is one of the most promising IGLs on our list. He started his BGMI career with Synergy and led them to 10th place in the ESL Mobile Open Milan, an international event that was only considered a Tier A event. Destro has led a total of eight teams in his career.

He has played in 13 Tier A games and won three of them, including two at BGIS in 2022 and 2023. Destro won it while playing for Skylightz Esports. Skylight Esports also won, but they were seen leaving Destro right after winning BGIS. He has competed in and won four of the 26 Tier B events he has played in, including the official PMCO Fall Split 2020. In the other 22 Tier B events, he has finished in the top five in half of them, or 11 events. He has played as an IGL and a filter in different events, but he has always been a killer. Now he is a part of God’s Reign.

Mohammad “Manya” Raja

Mohammad “Manya” Raja has shown himself in new ways since he came to BGMI. Along with his four teammates, Manya has repeatedly shown that he and they are bloodthirsty lobby hunters.

Manya has not yet played in an S-tier event, but he has played in a total of nine events so far and has won three of them and helped his team finish in the top five in four others. Also, he won BMPS 2023 for this. There have been 17 Tier B games that Manya has played in, and she has won three of them. As for performance, Manya has done well as an IGL and also as an attacker and gunner. She has led her team to many medal finishes and put herself at the top of the leaderboard of people who finished first. Manya had to be on this list after what he did in 2023. After Blind Esports Manya is now a part of IQOO Soul Esports

Harmandeep “Mavi” Singh

Harmandeep “Mavi” Singh, the old grifter. Mavi was one of the first players of BGMI and PUBG, and he is still very active. His latest performance in Global Esports has also shown this. Mavi was a member of the famous Oxy clan, and he began his professional career with the Indian Tigers. He is now the leader of global eSports.

Regarding Mavi’s performance, he has only played in two S-tier events so far. At his first event, he dominated the PMCO lobby, which earned him a spot in the PMCO Global League LAN, which was supposed to take place in Berlin, but Mavi couldn’t make it due to a visa problem. However, after about a year, he led Orange Rock Esports to second place in the PMWL East, which is the highest position an Indian team has ever attained. Let’s talk about Mavi’s events that are based on level. Even though Mavi has played in 11 Tier A games so far, he has only won one. That was the end of the 2020 summer ESL season. In the last 10 events, Mavi led his team to the top five in five of them, and three of those were official events. When it comes to Tier B games, Mavi has played in 18 of them so far and has not won any of them.

Mohammed “Owais” Lakhani

Mohammed “Owais” Lakhani, we can’t talk about the best Indian gamers without mentioning Owais Lakhani. He and Mavi are both from the first group of BGMI and PUBG players who have been playing for a long time. Of all the IGLs in PUBG and BGMI, Owais is one of the most effective. He has also played a big role in Team Soul’s success. In 2019, Owais played for almost nine teams. Most of the time, he was an IGL.

Owais has played in 18 events so far and has won three of them. All three of them were official events. As a player for Team Soul, he won the PMCO Spring Split and the PMIS 2019. As a player for Fnatic, he won the PMAS. Now let’s talk about B-tier events. Owais has played in 16 B-tier events so far and hasn’t been able to win any of them. After Team Soul, we all think that Owais is still looking for a good team and hasn’t been able to build one like he did in Team Soul. Now he is playing as the IGL of Team Forever, Which looks promising with threeyoung guns Mafia, Flawk and Omega

Vivek “Clutchgod” Aabhas

Vivek “Clutchgod” Aabhas, was a part of the Oxy Clan, along with Mavi. Up to this point, Clutchgod has played for Team Soul, Godlike, and TSM-Entity. He was on these teams during the dominance phase of TSM-Entity and GodLike.

Clutchgod has played in three events; in the 2020 PMWL East, his team, TSM-Entity, got the sixth rank and was without a doubt the most dangerous team of that year. Clutchgod has also played in 16 Tier A events. Clutchgod has played in a total of 24 B-tier games so far, where he has won two and led his team to the top five four times. Based on all of his achievements, we can say for sure that Clutchgod is made for official events. Since joining the Gujarat Tigers, he has brought out the attacker in him again.
